"Great location about 1.5 miles or a $6 cab ride to the malecon. Close to the airport 15 mins if there’s some traffic. The Versailles neighborhood is right up the street with a lot of options for food if you do not want to do AI everyday. Rooms were clean a bit noisy at night from the entertainment at dreams or secrets depending on the night but everything wrapped up by 11. "They originally checked us into a room with 2 double beds. The next morning I went to the front desk as we had booked a one bedroom suite Victor moved us to an ocean view suite which was lovely He also gave us extended checkout and some wine and upgraded our all inclusive meal plan. Victor was wonderful. So our stay ended being very very nice. "

"We only stayed at the Grand Pelicanos for one night. Also used the option to extend our stay at the resort till 3pm after checking out. The property is well maintained older resort and not too big. Service was excellent. We had an issue someone steeling our beach towels, but the staff resolved the problem quickly.
