"I booked a studio suite at the Radisson Wall Street. I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon. When I arrived at the Radisson the front desk told me that my booking was transferred to the Holiday Inn Lower East Side approximately 5 trains stops away. "Booked a last-minute trip to NYC leading up to New Year’s Eve and of course had trouble finding a nice hotel. Happened upon Gild Hall by Hyatt on hotels.com and couldn’t have been more pleased. Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in was quick and easy, and the rooms were nicely appointed. Great location and value

"My stay was a two night very brief stay but extremely convenient to my needs for this trip. A friend stayed there last spring and I thought it was very nice and we will be repeating the stay again this April. It was spacious and clean with a nice view of Manhattan. The only complaint I would possibly have (and even more my fault because I said nothing) but the room was extremely hot and for me a bit suffocating. It was 20 degrees outside and most people may appreciate the warmth but it was set at 72 which is my usual comfortable temperature but it was stifling and even as much so when I turned it down to 65 and wasn’t able to lower it any further. Otherwise perfect and I will look forward to my April vist"
