"The property and the staff were excellent. The beach was excellent. I just had a problem with the food it was hit or miss kind of thing. The Zen, steak house and the amercian restaurants were great. The others weren't good. The buffets were hit and miss. But they do change it up at dinner time with different menus. Plus if you stay at the riu bavaro you can visit there other hotels on the property's. And eat and drink. So overall its a great place to go "

"I loved that they allowed me to change my room and let me pick the room I wanted. The room assigned was close to the pool and was too noisy. They took me to view 2 rooms and gave me the option to pick. They also did not charge for my room service."
