"We were pleasantly surprised with our last-minute stay. The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling quite good! The bed was super comfortable in the room was very clean. Such a short distance from the room to the ocean! That was awesome, especially for my elderly mom :-) The property could use some cosmetic updates. The food was just mediocre, which was a little bit of a bummer, but it was OK. The bar service and the drinks were exceptional. The staff are super friendly. The best part about this...

"Over all, our stay was amazing. The resort is beautiful and very clean. The food at the buffet was above par. The beach was gorgeous. There were plenty of chairs on the beach but small tables would be handy. One thing we found frustrating is that we had great difficulty getting change. We wanted to tip more but only had bigger denominations. We found the service at the Italian restaurant was lacking. "Was a great stay …spent my birthday weekend at resort with my husband. The room was clean…loved the actual mini bar with liquor I recognized. Always stayed full .food was good,loved the fact I didn’t need reservations for specialty restaurants.i hate that about other resort .drink were good a white party was a blast.lots of thing for adults to do. Will definitely stay at another Riu hotel again "
