"It’s a studio room that easily sleeps 4. There’s not much “hangout” space—no patio or balcony, but the location is amazing and the beach proximity was great. Wish the window that looked out in the ocean had been cleaned. It was so dirty we could really see out if it. Basically, this is a no frills place but served us well and the service by the management company was great."

"The room was nice and the maid service was amazing. But the last week we were there I stepped on glass in the pool. And it was tons of small shards. Which caused excruciating pain. We removed what we could but I just spent 4 hours having tons of pieces picked from my foot. This ruined the end of our trip and I know this isn’t the condo owners fault, it really sucks I paid to stay extra days and couldn’t even utilize them. When I messaged the person in charge of the condo they were not concerned...

"My friends were a bit weary of me taking them down a dirt road into the jungle, but by the time we left, everyone was blown away. The Palapa was spacious and comfortable, built in a way that was showed true attention to detail, artistic talent, and an appreciation of the surrounding natural environment. "Hotel Colonial is not a luxury resort, but it is more than adequate. Nice pool. Clean room. Safe and good location in Playa del Carmen. Programable room safe. Friendly staff. Restaurants and entertainment close . Beach is only a short walk away. Not far from ADO bus station."

Best all inclusive in Cancun!

"The best all inclusive experience. The restaurants and amazing the service is top notch. We had a room facing the garden and we had monkey visitors everyday! There are alebrijes around the property that can take your photo and send it to your room so you can buy them at the end of your trip. The property is so huge and has lots of small little beaches where you can rent paddleboards and kayaks! The resort is also connected to the parks with free shuttles every 20 min so you can hop on and off at Xcaret, Xplor and more! This is by far the best resort i have ever stayed at and will be coming back again! "

"Room was great. Hotel layout was great. Pool layout was great. Close to 5th Ave for shopping and nightlife. Hotel staff was excellent. Food was delicious. Hotel entertainment team was fun. Spa treatment was great. The cafe was very welcoming. It was a wonderful experience! :)"
