"This was the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel; the female night manager helped arrange our parking, carried most of our suitcases, and even helped us buy bus tickets - at the bus stop! While there were a few details, like too much road noise and the tv not working (could care less), the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made it a very enjoyable stay. "The Hotel Oberland was the perfect place to stay in Lauterbrunnen. We stayed here on the recommendation of Rick Steves and it was perfect for our three days. We stayed across the street in like a mini apartment down the steps towards the back of the building. We had plenty of space with 2 beds, a kitchenette, stove top, microwave and refrigerator. The Coop grocery was a 5 minute walk down the road if we needed anything. The room was extremely clean, warm and plenty of space to move around. ...

"Great spot by the train station. Room small but nice and clean for the 3 of us. Aircon was great in the heat when we stayed. Staff extra helpful. Cooking facilities were great and not too crowded at meal time. Breakfast in the nearby shared hotel was excellent.. kept us going for the day. Would stay here again. We were 1 adult and a 12 and a 14 year old (girls). Highly recommend."
