"This is only the second stay I've had in a hostel and it was a very nice experience. We ended up getting a room with its own bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn out our window. The room wasn't all furnished (e.g., TV) but it had everything one needed and was spacious for a hostel. "Great spot by the train station. Room small but nice and clean for the 3 of us. Aircon was great in the heat when we stayed. Staff extra helpful. "We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

Access to the bike path was easy, making trips into town for groceries quite fast. Also close to the train station.
