"This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!"

"This property is such a wonderfully unique place. Owner Richard is an avid mountaineer, hence the namesake “base camp”. The property is traditional, cozy, welcoming, and nicely updated with modern technology. The staff is super friendly. The view of Matterhorn from our room is gorgeous. The breakfast is very good. This is definitely the highlight of our vacation in the Swiss Alps. We would highly recommend it."

"Stayed one night here, after 2 nights at the nearby Hotel Parnass. Parnass was much less expensive and a better value. Had a much larger room at Banhof, but unlike Parnass there was no free breakfast (Parnass has a large and excellent breakfast buffet). Also, my shower had a slow drain and very quickly was standing in a couple of inches of water while showering. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient.
