I had been to the hot springs before the hurricane hit and there were a lot more pools. The two that they did have were hot and enjoyable although were in need of being repainted and cleaned. "The Springs Resort offered everything I needed on my vacation. From the first moment we arrived we were treated like royalty with friendliness and pampering. The staff are exceptionally friendly and many remembered our names during our short 4-day stay. The multiple hot springs pools are drained and cleaned daily. The swim up bar was such fun. Our room was grand, with an amazing view of Arenal volcano. The housekeeping staff were very respectful and we enjoyed the nightly turn-down service....
