There is an instruction booklet/binder in the room which states not to bring any food in the room in bold red color font but its buried in 2 pages of information and we didn't finished reading by the time the ants got to the gum. perhaps a sign on the hotel door or a reminder during check-in would be...

"Property was beautiful - the only downside is it’s not walkable to any activities and many activities don’t pick up from the location. I would rent a car if I were to go back. The team found us transportation - it would have been more convenient to drive instead of having to pay each time you left the property. Staff was wonderful , rooms were perfect, food was excellent , view was amazing - quiet and relaxing ..defintley would go back "
