"While the room was quite spartan, the grounds are beautiful, as is the large deck with a spectacular view of the volcano, Arenal. The staff, especially Anderson and William, were warm, friendly, immediately responsive. Communal meals were delicious and a fun way to commune with fellow travelers. The only disappointment was the distance from the Arenal national park- a good 40 to 45 minute drive from the resort. "

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at the back of the property on the second floor. The room was updated and clean. Walking distance to restaurants. It is attached to a convenience store for beer, snacks and alcohol. Pool was clean. Also has a whole bar area that you can leverage by the pool. Property can be a little noisy in the morning when everyone is going to work since it is located directly on the main road to La Fortuna."

"The Tabacon Villa was wonderful. Perfectly appointed with all of the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The layout, interior design, and beautifully maintained grounds were welcoming, serene and really well done. We really enjoyed the hot tub with views of the Volcano. Perfect for the end of our adventurous days! Communication was also fantastic.The personalized welcome when we arrived was really great. Santiago made sure we knew where everything was located and how everything worked,...

"The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!"

"Ian was an excellent host! He provided a friendly welcome and recommendations throughout our stay. The property itself is incredible - gardens, lake & animals all within the premises. The area itself is convenient - close to Arenal town and about 45-60 minutes from La Fortuna. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing stay in Costa Rica. "
