"Need more beach chairs"

"I loved the set up of the Pools and proximity to the beach (the beach was kept very nice). The restaurants and food were excellent and service was very good. Wonderful location that was looked after by the Staff (clean and tidy). Rooms were very nice and comfortable. The only negative was that people would put their towels out on beach side lounges at night for the next day. They should have someone go around at 6:00 am every day and just remove towels (tell people at Check In that this will happen every morning...). We would get up to go for a walk at 7:00 am every morning and almost every poolside seat was "claimed" every day (which was OK as we preferred sitting just away from the pool anyway). Overall, we had an excellent stay and a very relaxing week. "

"Was a good vacation with kid"

"The property is beautiful and quiet but what was truly remarkable was the staff. The entire hotel staff was amazing from the front desk to the bartenders at the pool and housekeeping. I do not remember a resort that was so accommodating and looking to make our stay incredible. "

"Our stay was fabulous! We enjoyed all 5 days and didn’t want to leave! Every guest that we met had been to the property before and they come back regularly. That’s indicative of a great resort! The only issue we had was that the rainfall shower head didn’t work but there was a second shower head to use. We struggled with the tv but we weren’t too concerned about it since we weren’t in the room much. Overall, it was an amazing time. "

"This is our 2nd time here. We stayed at Royal level which I highly recommend. A few quirks: creamer comes in a glass for room service. No, alcohol delivered to room service. You have to go to the 7th floor bar and they give you plastic cups. Really wish they served food pool side like other Occidental’s. Over all a great resort. "

"This is our third time returning to the Marival and it was just as good as our first time. The food is fantastic - so many different options with their theme nights and 6 different restaurants to choose from, the drinks are so good - with two swim up pool bars, the rooms are very spacious and very clean, the staff are all so friendly and welcoming, the activities around the pool are sure to keep you entertained throughout the day with prizes and the shows at night are so entertaining and fun for everyone in the family to watch. We can’t wait to come back for another visit next year!"
