"The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The service by each employee was superb. Lovely to have breakfast in the breezeway. Charming living room and bar. Every hotel bed pillow we have had in Mexico has been like a gunnysack. A desk and chair would be helpful for a computer user. "

"Luis was an amazing host! He greeted us on arrival with fresh made lemonade and showed us where to park. Gave us plenty of tips for things to do and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable! While our trip was very short, we will be coming back to stay longer and explore more of the area! "

"This was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip. The hotel is nested in the jungle of Yucatan: luscious vegetation, old ruins that witness the passage of the Mayans, a Franciscan community and an old hacienda. Is exquisitely remodelled to blend with the surroundings, with modern and airy architecture, many beautiful pools, and walkable paths. "This hotel is just as its named. A great boutique hotel. It's in a great area in Centro Merida. Close to the Grand Plaza and the Gastronomy district. The included cook to order breakfast is more than you can expect these days and "Barbara" who brings it to you is simply delightful!"

"My wife and I decided to spend Christmas in Merida and had the good luck to choose Dave and Pat’s guest house. The place itself is beautiful, curated with love in all its details. The room was very comfortable, particularly the bed, and the hosts gracious and very nice. The breakfast was excellent, the recommendations very useful, and on a day generally spend with family, we found kindness among new friends. We recommend this place without reservations. "

"Allan has built an incredible Mayan home on the edge of the jungle yet close to Valladolid. The place is not for those seeking a hotel-like experience but we enjoyed the place for its uniqueness, the many animals, and for his amazing stories and breakfast. He provided great local recommendations as well."
