We enjoyed our stay here. The entertainment for our grandchildren was great! Nice pools and beach. The dining needs some work, we could never get into the Steak house, tried for the whole week. Hostess was rude and never could accommodate us! Buffet and over all the food was good. We went at Christmas and long lines no matter what. RIU has always been great, and very friendly.

Here’s a more polished version of your review: This was my first visit to Mexico and my first time staying at an all-inclusive resort. I traveled with a large group of friends and family, and we had a lot of fun overall. However, as vegetarians, my wife and I found the food options to be quite limited. While vegetarian options were available, they lacked flavor and became repetitive over the course of our stay. It would be great if the hotel could offer a wider variety of vegetarian dishes, especially more authentic and spicier Mexican options. As an Indian guest, I also noticed that the few Indian food options provided didn’t taste authentic. Cooking Indian cuisine requires expertise, and it’s not something that can be mastered just by following a YouTube tutorial. Improving the quality and authenticity of Indian and other Asian dishes would enhance the experience for guests like us. Lastly, I feel RIU should offer airport transportation for all bookings, regardless of where or how they were made. This added convenience would make the stay even better.

The hotel staff are very friendly , the rooms are decent and spacious, we had a lovely little balcony. The food options are good and I was particularly impressed with the delicious Christmas Eve dinner. Lots of entertainment in the evening till 11 pm. It was safe for the family and fun for the adults. I would stay in the same hotel again

We came there for a family vacation. The property and staff were nice for the most part. The problem for us was with the food and dining options. There were very little vegetarian options and there was a lot of cross contamination/mislabeled food options. That was not right or helpful for people with food allergies. The time when we actually ate properly was when we left the resort and came home.

Everything else aside. The food was a big problem, everyday its the same menu (even though there's variety). We stayed there for 6 days and got bored of the food after 3 days and were looking for options. All the restaurants had the same Menu as well everyday so no options for folks to eat anywhere else. Very limited options for vegetarians as well. For a premium resort the mgmt should work on making the ala carte restaurants to provide different flavor and not follow the buffet (same menu everyday) routine which becomes very monotonous.

I have mixed feelings about this resort, which is why the 3-star rating. We were with a group of friends and had an amazing vacation over Christmas 2024. This resort itself is okay. Nice, well kept, and they do a great job keeping rooms, pools, common areas and especially washrooms clean. They are also very responsive when one reports messes. The Activities team did a great job keeping guests engaged with yoga, foam pool parties, and so on. It was a lot of fun. The staff are courteous and the bartenders will mix drinks well for you. The infinity pool with mezcal bar was crowded, but our favorite place to hangout after other activities. Also, big plus that lounge chairs by the pool or by the beach are always available! They have a lot, and one doesnt have to scramble early in the morning to find a place. Our kids also enjoyed a lot in the pools, beach and the 24hr sports bar. Riu Jalisco is also walkable from this resort and we went there to the disc; and that was a lot of fun. (However, on our second visit to the disc, there was no one there and there was a strong odor of vomit - so some guests seem to have partied a little too much). There is lively daily shows and music performances in the evenings/night with dancing that livens up the atmosphere. Overall, guests are going to have an amazing time with their loved ones. So why 3 stars then? The food. I’ll put a caveat here and say that while the food did not sit too well with us, I can see that some other groups who have a

No life guard at the beach. The food at the steak house is lousy and too salty. No table or a small desk in the room. The front staff is lacking common courtesy. We stayed here 12 years ago and back then it was excellent. The pool hours are too short.The beds are very small. Very disappointed.
