We loved the property over all. However, my husband and I got bitten up in our room by bed bugs. Room number 6073. We thought we would return but I will never go back to a RIU after that.

We just stayed 12 days. We are experienced travelers and this is our second stay at a Riu. This resort BY FAR hits all of the vacation points that a person searches for. My wife and I talked this morning and couldn’t think of one thing that we experienced that wasn’t top notch. Staff go out of their way to make sure your experience is special. BIG shout out to the entertainment staff especially Christopher they really keep things exciting and you can truly see they enjoy their jobs!!!!! 5 out of 5 for us for all the right reasons!!!!

The resort’s stunning beachfront location offered breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, and the pristine, well-maintained grounds created a serene and luxurious atmosphere. The dining experience was exceptional, with a variety of restaurants offering delicious cuisine to suit every palate. The buffet was fresh and diverse, and the specialty restaurants, especially the Mexican and Asian options, were outstanding. What truly set this stay apart was the exceptional staff. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, from the friendly bartenders to the attentive housekeeping staff. The property itself was very well kept! Food was edible but it’s a stretch to call it “good” . Pools were clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Tons of activities available every day. They were constantly sweeping sand and mopping up standing water throughout the resort. Very very clean.

This hotel has false advertising, it nice but everything else horrible, service, no room service l, nobody following dress code, staff was rude especially in the front desk. No warm blankets even though it was chilly out. I want my money back! I checked out the next day and Expedia assured me I would get my money back and now they’re saying no even though I asked are you sur I can leave and get my money back!!! I’m disabled and asked if I can have my husband bring food up to my room and the front desk said “you can try” see what restaurant will let you from the resort? That’s so bad!
