"Location, location, location! Being on the beach was the best! Loved looking out at the ocean. The facilities were a bit outdated, but everything was clean enough. The location was nice and quiet, away from the beaten path and away from downtown La Jolla. Plenty of eating places within walking distance of the hotel. Easy enough to find parking on the street (free!), to avoid paying $40\night parking fee in the hotel garage."

"Friendly & hospitable staff. The room was by an exit. The constant entry and exit was loud and constant into our room, made early morning rest challenging. Good breakfast options. The hotel is going through construction but the staff were accommodating throughout. "
