"This is the best hotel that I’ve stayed at in La Jolla and San Diego. And I’ve stayed at probably 8 hotels in the area. Very pet friendly, lots of grass. Great staff. Spacious cool rooms, nice shower. Gym is great. Koi fish, water fountain, quiet. No crowded busy elevators. My favorite hotel in La Jolla, San Diego by far. Great convenient location "

"Excellent hotel with wonderful service that is centrally located near both the shopping/restaurants and steps away from the ocean/walking path. You can see the seals and waves crashing along the walking path and even walk down to the ocean. Hotel staff are very warm, friendly. Restaurant is extremely good with great waiters. Highly recommend this property."

"Very nice property with nicely redone rooms. A bit too much of a horse theme in halls and rooms but nevertheless nice. The property grounds are quite beautiful. A couple things that were not great: our room was a long walk from lobby which is ok for a walk but our requests for service had us waiting a very long time. Also, the lobby and all public rooms have all outside doors and windows open at all hours making it uncomfortably cold indoors. We spoke to tge front desk multiple times and days...
