"Upscale property away from the Duval bars. We booked a waterfront suite which was very spacious. This suite is on the second floor and provides a great view including sunsets.However it requires climbing up a steep set of stairs. I believe all units have at least four or five stairs. The property has the feel of a colonial town in the Bahamas. The staff are friendly. Room was cleaned and bottles of water replenished daily. We had breakfast a number of days. There is a nearby crepe restaurant and a bagel deli, as well as a Dennys. We had several dinners. The food was good but the entrees limited. We were told that a new menu was being added the day we were scheduled to leave. There is a shuttle to Smathers Beach and Duvall Street. We did not rent a car. Ubers were plentiful and arrived within two or three minutes. There were four pools and loungers on the sand areas. It never felt too crowded. We loved our stay and give the Parrot Key a solid 5 star."

"Super quaint original 1950s beach motel. Room was bright and pretty with hand painted wall art. Very shabby chic beach style. Staff was super friendly and the bus to town very handy. Great beach for hammocks and birdwatching, pool to swim and an 8 minute drive to Smathers beach to swim in the ocean . Real laid back blast from the past"

"Property was clean & neat around the pool. Our room was wonderful. Comfortable beds & modern bathroom. I really liked the Keurig & coffee in our room. The welcome gift was a nice touch :) Great to have a shuttle to get us close to Duvall Street. Would definitely stay there again. "

" When we checked in we were asked if we would like to upgrade to a suite for an additional $40 per day. We loved the suite and the incredible view we had on the 3rd floor overlooking the marina and the water. The pools were refreshing! So nice to have clean towels available. We enjoyed playing ping pong ball and bean bag toss. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We were very happy to have stayed at Oceans Edge rather than in the heart of Key West. We rented a golf cart for one day and use it to drive all around the area at our own pace. The free shuttle from OE to KW was very convenient and so comfortable. We loved our stay and will recommend Oceans Edge to our friends and family."
