"We stayed here for 4 nights and the resort is beautiful. The shuttle is fantastic. 6 pools to choose from. We didn’t get to kayak but they’re a nice option. The area around the hotel is very sketchy but we felt safe inside since it’s completely gated with a guard. "

"I really enjoyed the location it was beautiful loved the fact that it didn't allow kids. The only issue I had was the check in process was a little slow when hoping to get a early check in. Got there about 230 and was greeted nicely was able to sit roof top until the room was ready and enjoyed happy hour. Did however was told I would be texted when my room was ready. I never received a text and decided to walk back to the front desk and checked right in at 4 o'clock "

"What an amazing property! Our room was beautiful, the views were exquisite and the staff was so lovely. We adored our stay here as n room 107 and will definitely only stay at The Mansion on the Sea when we return to Key West. "

"Santa Maria’s rooms are really luxury. The staff is a little lacking. No one tells you about any of the amenities. We had to ask where the exits were and the beach we could utilize. The bar tender never walked around to tell us slushies were free or that happy hour started. She rarely smiled but was efficient. Just not five star by any means "
