"My bff and I were a little concerned by recent reviews but as soon as we arrived and were able to check in early at 2pm for our three night stay, we felt so happy with our choice - rooms were clean, breakfast was great - it was basic but given it was complimentary was wonderful - we had to wait for a table for a few mins as there were not many but was all good. Coffee was good and bagels and waffles were great. Complimentary water station with lemons was available to fill up water bottles was a handy extra. We asked the day before we were leaving whether we could possibly have a later checkout due to our flight time and immediately advised that was no problem whatsoever to check out at 12 rather than 11. All staff were lovely. I wonder if sometimes bad reviews are an indication that people writing them are sometimes not courteous themselves? Shout out to all day $5 frozen margaritas at Mickey Spillanes bar!! Would highly recommend comfort inn midtown manhattan. Great proximity to broadway shows in Times Square - around 15 mins depending on how many people are around as New York is very busy!! 10 min walk to subways to get around everywhere. We loved it!"

"I booked this hotel last minute. When I arrived, I wanted to leave because it was full of large groups. Saud the front desk agent put me on the correct floor so I did not hear noise. I walked everywhere. I would stay here again when in the area. I did skip breakfast because it was so full. I had coffee. They recognized my Hilton Diamond Status. "

"I stayed at this property for four nights in April 2025. All of the staff I worked with were very pleasant and helpful. I splurged on a corner room so I could have a view of the busy streets and city. The first room I was assigned was on the 14th floor and had a less-than-exciting view. I arrived later in the evening, so there were no other rooms available, but they agreed to move me the next day. I was able to pack my bag and leave it in the room and go out and enjoy the day. When I returned, they moved me to a room on the 27th floor that had a spectacular view of 9th Avenue. I was very happy! They delivered my bag to the new room quickly, then also delivered a complimentary fruit plate for the trouble. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel bar and restaurant, The Stinger, was a convenient place to meet with friends and had a good selection of food and drinks. This hotel is conveniently located in the theater district, in walking distance to most shows. It is surrounded by the vibrant Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, full of restaurants, bars and entertainment, and right across the street from Birdland jazz club."
