Super location for theater goers. Tons of restaurants close by with a neighbourhood feel. Hotel is clean. Very nice little bar with microwave and fridge. Clean bathroom. Very close to The Food Emporium. You can eat in if you feel like it.

This hotel is in a wonderful location. The building itself is old - decor, elevators, narrow hallways. The room was decent but I don’t think I’d stay more than 1 or 2 nights. Staff at the front desk could be nicer to guests and have more organization in the lobby area during check-in time. One maintenance man (I think his name is Alex) I encountered, was very kind and helpful. Overall, not too bad for a quick trip.

Had to change rooms around 4:40 after getting up to use the restroom and discovering a roach infestation. Went down stairs to inform them and saw roaches down stairs and the guy at the desk saw the roaches. Carpet was dirty. The air conditioner was making a loud noise, the phone was not working , and I was bit by a spider on the first night. My finger is still not healed completely. Had to change hotels. They did not return my deposit.

Can't beat the location for walking to shows in Broadway region. Hotel is cute, has excellent housekeeping, and was a great deal during our stay in January off season. Only downsides are they use these crappy containers for shampoo and soaps that are nearly impossible to squeeze anything out of, they are a bit skimpy on bedding and pillows, and there were some odd thumps and noises in the mornings (not a problem if one is an early riser though)

We stayed overnight on a Friday to see a matinee on Saturday. The hotel was walking distance to a lot of restaurants, bars and the theatre. Not too far from Times Square and Madison Square Garden. Though we were already checked out they held our bags until after the show and hailed a cab for us. I was traveling with my sister so it was nice to find a reasonable place with two beds which were comfortable.The only negative I encountered was the shower which was very old and worn and challenging to adjust to temperature.

I love the staff and this property. It's my hotel of choice, while I'm in Manhattan, but, this stay didn't happen. My wallet and id were stolen on the 31st. I still had a photo of my id in my phone from a PayPal verification I needed to take care of. They let me use the photo, once, but, wouldn't let me use the id, again, for the second night (this booking). I lost my money and my night at the hotel. I ended up having to stay in diners and cafes all night, since that was my budget for the day. I've spent a LOT of money at this property and they have my id on file. I just hit a run of bad luck. They could have been more understanding, considering I know, like, and get along with all the staff. It was extremely inconvenient, costly, and cold treatment, when I expected it to be kinder and more accepting.

The sheets were dirty when I went to get in bed. Unfortunately, that wasn't the worst part...I found a bug on the bed the next morning. The hotel supposedly refunded part of the bill, but then I had to reach out to Expedia to get me money back. It's been 2 months and I still haven't received my refund. I did reach out to Expedia, but no one responds. I'm very unhappy with the situation.
