The first time I stayed at the grand Hyatt was in 1984 and since that time it has grown and prospered and is a fantastic place to stay in midtown Manhattan! Located directly above Grand Central Station, there are plenty of dining and shopping options as well as access to anywhere in the five boroughs. "

"Front desk upgraded me to a room w/a wonderful view of the Empire State Bldg., at no cost. Bathroom seemed very new, plenty of space for a NY room, beds comfortable. Noon checkout, vs. usual 11am, was especially nice after a late night out. Will definitely book there again, when the prices are right. Only trouble was that one elevator was being renovated. "Traveled with my daughter to see Wicked on Sunday. Arrived early Saturday and was checked in right away. The hotel is modern and comfortable, great concierge services, highly attuned to guests needs. The location couldn't be better with a 3 minute walk to the Tines Square and famous diners. Only a 25 minute walk to the Central Park. If ability to exercise during the stay is important, the hotel provides their guests access to a huge sports gym next door woth a salt water pool!
