"There are parts of the hotel that are a little tired and in need of renovation. My room had a faucet that fell off - many paint dings and old materials..... BUT it was spotlessly clean - the staff were wonderful, the place has tons of old school charm (a renovation would need to keep the period character) and the location wonderful. Really enjoyed my stay."

"People were vaping and smoking constantly in front of lobby doors. It would even come into the lobby. Additionally, people were vaping in the hallways and sometimes would sit at the benches by the elevator, at all hours, doing it so it would smell like weed. My room was right by the elevator so at one point my room was a little smoky and I was worried there was a fire but it was just someone vaping. "I’ve stayed here before and my previous room couldn’t have been more different than the one from yesterday’s reservation. The room on the second floor looked beat up (for lack of better words). There were holes in a number of the furnishings and the bathroom door was peeling. The room just looked very outdated and dingy, including the smaller and older model flat screen TV. I also woke up with horrendous allergies. The bed comfortable and at least the bathroom was clean from a sanitary...
