"I have previously stayed at this property and had an excellent experience. Unfortunately this time around the property looked worn, hallway carpet was in horrid condition, bathroom door had bad water damage along the bottom and the beds were doubles not queens and not very comfortable. Disappointed since its location makes it a great option and the property is a beautiful French quarter building. Hopefully they will invest some and do some upkeep soon."

"Hotel Monteleone is a beautiful, historic hotel conveniently located in the French Quarter. We were able to walk everywhere, while also stopping back at the hotel throughout the day to drop off our shopping treasures or just take a break from the humidity. The Carousel Bar & Lounge was awesome! I read a review that said it’s busy no matter when you go, and I’d have to agree. "Favorite place I've stayed in Nola. Right in the middle of bourbon street but if you get an interior facing room it's quiet and you wouldn't know you are on bourbon. Spacious clean room, good size bathroom, helpful staff, comfortable bed, great pool with bar. Definitely will stay again."
