We were there with 2 other friends for the EPIC snowstorm 2 weeks ago. The staff was great for our entire stay. While a lot of places were closed, they remained open. The kitchen wasn't open but they did cook some breakfast food for the guests. Monroe was excellent! We had a fantastic time and will be back when the weather is a bit warmer.

I had gotten a room for New Year's Day, and the bombing happened. There was no way to even get to the hotel because all streets around it were closed and the FBI told people to stay away. The hotel would not issue me a refund. I love New Orleans and plan on going again, but not to this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Bienville House overall. It is an excellent location in the French Quarter and walking distance to all of the places we wanted to visit-Bourbon Street, the River Walk and other site seeing. We had a room with 2 double beds which were super comfortable. The room was a bit dated and was not as "bright" as it looked online. The bathroom was very nice, updated, modern. Plenty of hot water, the water pressure fair. The only problem we had of any significance was customer service- with the exception of Beverly, who was gracious and welcoming and very helpful at check in. However, surprisingly, the other front desk staff were not. No greetings, or smiles. I don't think we would stay there again.

I enjoyed the location. It made it easy to walk everywhere. I had ants in bathroom. I asked for ant traps. They said they would take care of when I left for day. The ants were still there after and no ant traps were left.

Very very nice property like shockingly great for the price. Close enough to the french quarter for convenience but far enough to avoid any noises that might keep you up. Did get woken up by a garbage truck though at 4am on a saturday so wouldnt recommend a room with a window facing the water but overall it was great
