"The Melrose Mansion was a lovely stay. The bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed having complimentary snacks provided in my room. The property is more on the historic side so I wouldn't expect everything to look brand new. Our bed squeaked and the breakfast ran out of plates, coffee, and some of the food items for one morning we went down to eat. Staff was very friendly. "

"Perry at the front desk was terrific and made us feel very welcome and appreciated at check in. The Royal hotel has great personality and we love the inner courtyard. I do wish we had known our room was on the fourth floor with no elevator. So if you are staying caring large bags may be challenging. "
