The only things that could be better would be getting the windows cleaned and some minor mould on the ceiling. "The room was very quirky and the view was amazing. Lots and lots of steps to reach room 10 but once you have scaled the stairs its worth the effort. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and not to be missed at any cost. The staff were friendly and helpful and having the on site parking is a massive plus. "The room was pretty tiny, and the traffic on the street below was loud. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and carried my suitcase for me. There is only one restaurant nearby that was pretty lousy. Otherwise, I had to walk at least 20 minutes to get to other restaurants in either direction. It is very close to a very lovely park for walking and relaxing (Stanmer Park). I guess it was ok for the price. "
