We tried to find apartment using google maps as it said they had a concierge but could not locate the apartments. Had to find alternative accomodation. Very stressful. "Everything at the Drake was above any of my expectations! The hotel, built in the 1800’s, the ceilings alone are amazing. The staff were also above and beyond. It felt to me that they genuinely cared about my stay. The poached eggs on avocado toast was the best! I’m not even exaggerating. I will be returning!"

"Love staying at Hotel du Vin in Brighton. The staff are super friendly (especially to dogs!). Not the hotel’s fault at all - but there’s a nightclub a few doors away. We paid over £600 for two nights (think it was more due to the Brighton marathon being on) and I was woken up in the early hours of the morning by revellers. You hope for a decent night’s sleep so I’d recommend not staying in one of the rooms that faces the road outside. Parking is also crazily expensive in Brighton - think I’ll go...
