"Unbeatable location. Take previous reviews with a grain of salt. Complaining about not having hand towels is bonkers. Who cares when you are right on North Beach? The room was spotlessly clean, check in a breeze, poolside loungers and umbrellas provided without fail. This is not a 5 star resort so don’t expect turndown service. Instead enjoy the sound of the surf from the balcony, walk easily to town for dinner, order a delicious passion fruit margarita from the bar downstairs and watch the sunset. I’ve stayed at numerous properties on the island and this is by far my favorite. I can’t wait to return. "

"We’ve been visiting Isla Mujeres since 2018 staying at different places. This is the first time hearing about The Mint and absolutely loved our stay. The staff is courteous and on top of everything. The weight staff at the barn restaurant or top-notch. The pool and dipping pool is very relaxing and a great place to sit to watch the sunrise! It is walking distance from everything downtown Isla. The rooms are very spacious and the balconies are very large. The bathroom is very large a nice big walk-in shower. The ambience of this resort is amazing. They work hard to make sure we enjoyed our time, which we did! We will definitely be back!"

"Although the room we originally requested was unavailable due to maintenance they made up for it with a free night. The hotel is beautiful the balconies spacious. The entire staff are pleasant and friendly. Love it there"

"Would definitely book again. This hotel is literally down the street from the ferry very convenient. Yes, it’s on a busy street but everything is within walking distance the beach, food, convenient stores. We found so many local food vendors within walking distance and the food was delicious which we enjoyed and awesome getting to know the local people so welcoming. The church is down the street and has morning vendors and evening ones too and there’s a small grocery store too. Our evening receptionist Jonathan was so great very welcoming enjoyed talking to him and getting tips about things to do around the island. The hotel is small which in my opinion I preferred not crazy busy we’ve done resorts which are ok but if you’re looking for something convenient and welcoming and really want to get to know the island and it’s people this place is a must. Definitely booking again!!"
