"The room was very clean. Another guest unhooked cables from our TV so we couldn’t make it work but a very pleasant employee got it going for us. I am a tea drinker but there was no tea bags st breakfast. Had we walked in without a reservation the room would have cost $55, Through Expedia it cost us $64. What’s going on Expedia??"

"I stay at this hotel whenever I drive from Atlanta to Chicago to visit family. Sam and Jay are the two persons I deal with and they are wonderful! The room is very nice, comfortable, clean with an updated sophisticated vibe. The outside looks a bit run down but the rooms are great! I’m a single female and feel very safe. Last time I stayed Jay helped me take my luggage in! I thoroughly enjoy my short stays and the wonderful hospitality of Sam and Jay."

"Wife & I always lived near pieces of Route 66 so stayed here on 1/1/2025. It is remodeled and restored but with modern heating, bathrooms, carpet, etc but retained the Route 66 era feel and appearance, like big Stars on all outside doors to tell folks they are in Texas! Room has little fridge, TV, WiFi, microwave, even a safe! Beds are classic but Queen size with new, wonderfully comfortable mattresses. Shower was hot and full force! Breakfast was hot biscuits and gravy and waffles. We stayed...
