"Lovely stay at the Royal Sonesta downtown. The location was very nice. We enjoyed being close to the river and having access to the shopping and eateries. The bed was comfortable but the pillows weren’t as good. We were on the 29th floor so While you could hear the train and some traffic noise it was muffled. The elevators were fast and the wait for them was short, although they were small so only a few people if everyone had a suitcase with them. The fitness center was nice with two Peloton bikes but one was broken. There’s a water station in the gym as well so we used it to fill our water bottles during the stay, which was nice. The views from the hotel were great. Only caveat is that the Trump tower is across the way and the lights from the sign were bright- thank goodness for the blackout curtains! The front desk staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We were able to check in early which was really nice. Overall a lovely stay. "

"Great hotel in Theater District, close to shopping and other attractions. Didn’t like the parking in a lot around the corner at night, but realize that’s just the way it is at many hotels in a big city."

"Our hotel stay was magnificent. Beauty everywhere I looked. Our room was so cosy and comfortable. All our meals were scrumptious! Staff was very helpful with everything. The hotel and room were spotless. One thing to suggest: softer toilet tissue"

"This is such a cool spot!!! It’s like walking into the past with updates!! Everything from the the elevator to the staff to the extras were above and beyond!! Free coffee and tea and scones, and we got a free bottle of wine with our room!! We stayed on the 17th floor and didn’t hear a peep from any of our neighbors! It’s within walking distance of so many cool spots, not having to uber was a huge plus!! I cannot recommend enough!!"
