"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good. On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....

"Tiny room that was apparently even smaller back in the day but they expanded to give each room a private bathroom. Would probably not be enjoyed by larger people as the doors and walkable parts are all very narrow. The whole place was short on staff but the few staff running the place were very helpful and nice. Bring earplugs as there are California sea lions that have swum upriver to make a nice hang out spot on the river side of the boat. We thought the river side would be quieter but I’m not...

Every single staff member had a smile on their face, were laughing, and seemed as though they genuinely enjoyed their job.
