Hotel Whitcomb

2.5 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (1002)

I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. The room I stayed in was okay. The bathroom was small and the furniture was peeling. How you watch TV in the room was a little new which was appealing. You use a Chromecast and then just link your...

"They had a mini fridge with a few waters and you could ask for a few more. Breakfast had pretty much all carbs and no protein. I did enjoy my waffle, fresh orange juice and coffee. I forgot my toothbrush and they gave me a cute toothpaste with brush. The employees were super friendly. Safe area and can walk around. Would stay again. "

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (2694)
"This was my second stay at the property. The location, rooms and staff have been consistently great. The only downside would have to be room noise. There were very loud guests in adjoining rooms that were yelling and partying well into 2am-3am each night. Also, guests were sitting out on the fire escape smoking and drinking right outside the bedroom windows, which was not only disruptive but unsafe. Again, the staff and facilities themselves were fantastic, but be prepared to hear everything...
