well here I go my third review of the La Quinta Rancho Cordova,. Yes I do get to pick were to stay and dollar for dollar I do not think I can do better. Comfortable bed, good linen and towels. Dove brand body wash and shampoo. Many food choices on Sunrise and Folsom blvd . Breakfast is good too

It was pretty good value for the price. However, the bathtub faucet was very difficult to turn on and off. Complimentary breakfast shut down at 9 am , but we weren't advised of that. Also, the hotel is 12 miles outside of Sacramento, but this was not mentioned in the ad.

The room had the strongest odor of pet urine that kept us up. They gave us a spray to help. It did not. It was disgusting.

When we got there the guy told us breakfast was till 10 am then in the morning we went downstairs at 9 15 was over… The area had great food around though 25 hour taco place The front desk are very friendly and helpful I would stay there again was just that one error …

Night check in guy was great. All downhill from there. Tv shut on and off at random. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Toilet handle was dangling off the toilet and had to be reattached every time to flush. Room dirty. No hot water calls to front in morning kept saying there’s hot water rather than addressing the obvious. Wouldn’t stay again at any price point.

Well here I am again at the La Quinta Rancho Cordova. Yes tried some place else and they did not match up to the La Quinta for the price. Checked in early yea, Got a room that was almost a mini suite, yea again. Bed was just right. The bathroom was spotless with nice fluffy towels. TV worked but channels not that great, oh well. Breakfast in the morning was tasty, with eggs, sausage , waffles and the rest. Only thing that needs work is better WIFI, , they said that they are working on it good. Well I stay here again I hope so

I had reservations for the night of the 30th I got there a day early and asked for the previous night the guy said no problem I had already paid for the night through Expedia for the 30th. I paid for the 29th with my bank card. I had to work and got a call from my girl friend we were being kicked out of our room. I called the front desk told them I had a reservation they told me it was for the 29i told them that was wrong and wouldn’t listen to nothing I had to say. I told the lady working that I was coming down there and she told me I would be removed from the property if I did so tried to get a refund from Expedia and they did nothing told la Quinta they owed me a refund and have received anything from la Quinta. Find somewhere else to stay

The matress liner had pee on it. When I entered the room I could smell it. We had a lot of luggage sp it would be hectic to move everything to a next room. I ended up pulling off the sheets and noticed that the matress liner has pee all over it. I called for new sheets where they were under staffed in the night (that's not fair to the staff) no one was able to take the change of sheets and blankets to our room, the staff at the time didn't handle it well, but I tried to work with him knowing there wasn't anyone else. I had to make the trip down to get them myself. The staff the next day was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience.

Condition of rooms was not to standard of other Hotels. Door to our room was hard to open, hard to close. door to clothes closet had a hole in it. Cabinet in room w/refrigerator and Microwave. door was nor mounted well. Toilet seat in bathroom was broke. brown spots on wall by toilet. (unknown substance) no bureau to put clothes in. an additional chair in room would be nice. Some of these problems can be fixed quickly and not costly.. A little effort by hotel management could change the atmosphere that gives you the impression of a hotel chain in decline. I send this just to point out what I saw on my stay. Not to complain but to give a different persons view of the facility. good luck please take this in the spirit it was given.

The in room bathrooms have a lot More to be expected. The shower and toilet are in one area, but the mirror in the sink are in a separate area. This is minor other than if you’re staying with three people in a single room.
