"Front desk was excellent! Wish the Hotel bar stayed open pass 11pm. Nonetheless, a grear bar for nibbles and drinks. My room had some weird couch cover, gave off the feeling of not being cleaned or perhaps stained. Bedroom was comfortable, but the barhroom, mainly the rub/shower seemed a bit uncleaned. Which was unfortunate. Construction on the room next door whilst trying to sleep at 8am was annoying. Guessing it needed to be done."

"The hotel is under renovation and will be great. Our room had not been renovated and showed its age. I will go back next time I’m in town. The location is good, the room’s potential is good. Housekeeping was terrific."

"I have stayed at the Sentinel since it was the Govener 5 or 6 times. Classic old hotel with beautiful wood work, but not at all worn out. Room was very up to date, though wifi poor. Enough outlets, bathroom very nice. Chose a premium room w fireplace. With 2 easy chairs and table a pleasant place to do some work. Tram is noisy, but i like it (as have lived by them in past). Jakes was fabulous for dinner. Much better then lat time. Staff helpful. Great location. Close to everything. Nearby...
