"What an oasis this hotel was for our long weekend in Portland. In a world of beige and bland hotel rooms, The Royal Sonesta was a breath of fresh air. On paper nothing in the rooms should match, but somehow it all just works, and is a feast for your eyes. Comfortable beds, the most amazing staff (thank you Owen! ♥️) , who bend over backwards to be helpful, friendly and accommodating. Seriously, they have literally found the very best people!! We may need to just move in! Ha! "

"The restaurant has a limited menu and limited hours, but the food was really good, and the staff was friendly. Fitness center was larger than you'd expect. Google Maps will put you in the wrong lanes to get to the Hotel but once you learn you'll be OK. Parking was $26 a night."
