"Has an upscale very tropical feel. The front desk and concierge arranged airport transportation and excursions for us prior to our stay. Very personalized service throughout our stay. There is no TV on the premises. That was a down side for us, but if you really want to relax and unplug, it's probably a plus for most people."

"Hotel Bosque del Mar is an immaculately maintained small/medium-sized property that sits right on the beach in Playa Hermosa. The staff here were very friendly and provided lots of information for us before and during our trip, anytime we requested it. "Everything was great inside The Palms hotel. It’s when you go outside and walk to the beach to the left side of the hotel and you find a lot of graffiti and trash around the area. There’s a soccer field right in front and people going to the beach park there so that’s probably why. Also there’s some homeless people that hang out there by the skate park making it feel a little sketchy. Wouldn’t recommend going through this street at night due to it being very dark with lack of lighting. "

"Pros We had an excellent stay at the Gilded Iguana. Staff were very helpful and helped us book surf lessons and board rentals as well as a turtle hatching tour at Ostinal.
