"This is an excellent place to stay for people on a budget because the rooms are beautiful and I have a super high wood beam ceiling and with air-conditioning and everything was clean and neat and we paid less than $55 a night! Plus it was right near everything and the staff was very helpful and they have common areas we can cook your own meals and it’s very very affordable really great price for what you get! "Beautiful place to stay! Very clean, beautiful wood interiors, inviting pool, incedible view of the ocean right from your private balcony. I could go on and on. Host was friendly and responsive, helpful and courteous. Animals in trees right nearby. Property has pretty limited parking, and I’ll admit it was a bit of a challenge parallel parking at that elevation. 10/10 would stay here again. Love the quiet policy. So peaceful & rejuvenating."

"Accueil très sympathique. Le personnel est très agréable, souriant, disponible, très arrangeant. On nous a même changé notre roue qui avait crevé. Chambre spacieuse, fonctionnelle. Petit déjeuner copieux et complet. Piscine très appréciée en fin de journée. Très belle plage et bon restaurant à proximité. Tout était parfait et nous y retournerons volontiers."

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 3 nuits. L’endroit est idéal pour visiter la région. La plage est à quelques mètres de l’appartement. L’appartement est juste en face du restaurant RipJack. Ce restaurant est excellent et avec une belle ambiance. La cuisine est bien équipée. Tout est fonctionnel. La cour intérieure donne accès au calme, à la nature et à la piscine. "

"We had a delightful stay at this bit of heaven in Garza and can attest to Bob and Trudy’s hospitality. Need something, just ask! Local intel, treats, they care about making your Costa Rica experience pleasant so you can relax on your vacation. PURA VIDA! Up above Garza, you’re afforded a stunning view of fishing boats in Bahía Garza. "The unit was right on the main road and thus it was noisy. The unit had no water pressure to shower (humid and 35 degrees Celsius) or clean the dishes. I have notified the property manager that I will be moving after the first two nights requesting a refund for the last three days. The property manager has approved the early cancellation, but I haven’t received my refund yet."

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"We had an amazing 10 day stay at SeaCasa! Jackie (the property manager) was very helpful with any questions we had. The shipping container seems to be the perfect way to go in Costa Rica. We also rented an ATV for the days we were there, which was perfect! Felt very safe & the pool was amazing! Close to the beach, jungles & downtown Samara. Went zip-lining, river kayaking, & fishing! Pura Vida! "

"The resort is gorgeous. The rooms are clean , beds are very comfortable. Definitely Great to have the pool right outside the door. Odd set up for the 2 bdr villas.. when you enter through the gate you have a common outside small table and 4 chairs and on each side of that is a sliding door..to the right ...a kitchen with 2 single beds and TV, no bathroom. So whoever is in that room has to come through the queen bedroom with people sleeping to use bathroom . On the left queen bedroom and...

"We've stayed here a few times and feel it's good value for the price. Tonight there were some ants crawling around on the floor, but heh, we're in Costa Rica so not too surprised. The pool was warm and the bed was comfy."

"It’s a tired hotel and definitely understaffed but the food options were always great and the location is unmatched. It is located in the quieter Playa Langosta but still close enough to Tamarindo for some outings."

"We loved our staying at Riu Guanacaste. The hotel was in a nice location. They have monkeys right next to the hotel and the beach was very nice. The staff was amazing and the food was very good, they have a wide variety of options at the buffet, the only thing I would say is that the other restaurants are a little difficult to book because you have to make a line before they open to get a spot. The road to get to it needs to be paved. Im glad that they will be updating this hotel because it needs it, but I will say that I loved everything about it. The entertainment crew is really great. I will definitely recommend people to stay here and I will definitely come back again. Pura Vida! "
