Charming Creekside Cottage! Relax in nature yet only a short walk to town!

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (66)
"Walk out the door and turn right and you can walk a ¼ mile to the Deer Creek Tribute Trail, a lovely hike. Turn left out the door and you are an easy ½ mile walk from downtown Nevada City and all its restaurants and stores. I stayed for a week and walked everywhere, never moving my car. Modern Log Cabin on Cascade Canal, 5 minutes to Downtown Nevada City

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (22)
"The location near the Cascade Canal Trail and the proximity to town are two great reasons to stay, but the house is just so comfortable! Beautiful views from every window. Large, nicely designed and well appointed kitchen and each living area a place to mingle and share time with family and friends. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners thought of everything. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!!"

Northern Queen Inn

2.0 star property
6.6 out of 10, (1005)
"It is a lovely area and the two towns of Nevada city and grass Valley are so fun to visit. The three people that we met at the check-in desk were so kind and full of great idea ideas of where to eat in the area and how to get to the evening Christmas market. This is definitely a dog lovers hotel. Unfortunately, our room although spacious reeked of dog smells."
