"My room was large and very comfortable. The AC worked well and there was always plenty of hot water for showers. The food was good, but I wish there was more alternatives for breakfast and lunch. The lunch truck was OK, but I like jerk chicken and Jamaican patties. The burgers were not very good and there wasn't much else to choose from. So, almost all days were at the buffet. "This was our 3rd time back at the iberostar Bavaro suites. We love the food, the set up next to the beach and the staff. In my opinion you get a lot for your money at this resort. All of the restaurants that we went to had delicious food options and we were very happy. Please keep in mind that the clientele is international so there are things you may not typically have in the United states but there are many options.
