"Westin is a beautiful property located in front of the Mississippi River within the French Quarter but away from the noise. The staff is professional and friendly. The hotel is clean,my room was lovely it overlooked the river. The morning sunrises were beautiful. The beds are comfortable. I wasn’t crazy about the firmness of the pillows but that is a personal preference. The hotel charges a 30$ a day up charge/ and gives a 30$ credit. They do advise you of the 5-8 cocktail hour that serves a few small bites. I guess that is supposed to balance out the up charge. Meh! My diet is vegetarian, FYI I was nice returning from a hot day and having a cup of ice cold infused water. The presentation like the hotel was classy. The hotel is connected to an upscale mall. The location is very pedestrian friendly. I can’t say anything bad about my stay at this hotel in NOLA. If I ever return to NOLA I’ll be staying here again. "

"It is a beautiful hotel and has a great location with a trolley stop right outside the entrance so super convenient and right outside the Quarters…had a few hiccups with check in, housekeeping, and valet, but overall a lovely hotel with a really nice gift shop…the staff we interacted with were kind and friendly."
