"Check in was easy, since I booked the hotel room through Hotels.com. The room was clean except the bathroom floor. It was waxy and our shoes slipped. I cleaned the floor myself with soap and water and that helped. We had ask the front desk to ask housekeeping for anything extra, like clean towels, extra kleenex and trash bags. "Value for the price, a block away from the noisy Canal Street. You can still hear the boom boxes from the cars and the revving of the engines, but that eases away after midnight. Staff was very friendly, location is very convenient. There is a market across the street, reasonably priced QSR food as well. Royal street is full of art shops and quieter bars than Bourbon, and the hotel has a No Party Rule stated on the check in form. Security is very good, no one gets in without a key with...

"Clean, large room with nice bathroom. Great breakfast. Seemingly a favorite for visiting workers. A good choice for our overnight stay while traveling back home. And, for dinner, check out the nearby Fiery Crab. Excellent oysters - raw and charbroiled - as well as a delicious shrimp boil combo!"
