"This place was perfect for one night. Check in was easy, room was clean. It had the bare necessities: a bed, night stands, a desk, water with two glasses, two luggage stands and a bathroom. Which is all we really needed for a late arrival and a one night stay. There’s a communal area with a kitchen where you can use all the amenities there. Didn’t get the name of the lady that cooked the breakfast she was friendly. Had a good choice for breakfast. The soaker tub was amazing. Wish I would’ve had more time to explore the property. "We’ve been to NOLA several times and this was one of our favorite places to stay! Perfect location and felt very safe, but do not stay here if you’re even the tiniest bit of a light sleeper. There is no sound barrier whatsoever between the other rooms and outside. We expected the nightlife noise of course, but we could hear the neighbors clinking their coffee cup all early morning (through earplugs!) and it was so annoying. "We had a wonderful stay! The staff and breakfast was wonderful! The only thing that was that the bed in the Evangeline was pretty firm. We did sleep, but it was a little tricky getting comfortable. I think that if we stayed there again I would look at another room to see if any beds are different. But I would definitely go there again! "
