"My stay at the Fairchild House B&B was really lovely. The property is centrally located and it was easy to get anywhere on foot or by utilizing public transportation. It is an historic property, which is great, but a little rough around the edges. Would not categorize it as luxurious, but I also did not pay the price for luxury accommodations. If your priorities are location and customer service, this is a wonderful option."

"Our second visit to Houmas house was fabulous. We spent the night and had a fabulous dinner at the Carriage House. The food is excellent. The grounds were decorated beautifully for Christmas. It is a great place to spend time with friends. Love it!"

"We had advised the inn keeper of an early arrival which she was fine with. However, we showed up really early b/c of an early flight. Merely wanted to store our bags and change cloths in a bathroom. Monica had none of that. Promptly, took us to our room, got us set up and we worried about payment....etc later. She did all of this despite working on breakfast prep. "I was disappointed that I couldn’t use the kitchen and there wasn’t a microwave to warm up anything. I didn’t think the bedroom furniture, including the bed, or the sofa was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The property is pretty."
