It is a run down, bug infested, water damaged, no hot water, no facilities, no help to drag luggage up 2 flights of stairs...I am a 73 yr solo female traveler and felt unsafe the whole time I was there. As a senior I would have liked to see a grab bar in the shower, there was nothing to hold on to. The shower is strictly overhead, bring a shower cap if you want to keep your hair dry. It is a 30 min walk from town but I loved the secultion. The restaurant on site serves delicious food . it is a bit expansive but again the view while you eat is special. The staff is very sweet friendly and extremely accomodating. I must come back!"

"What an incredible tranquil stay. Staff is incredible, morning breakfast is healthy and so clean. There’s a bocce court and the restaurant has a simple menu that’s vegan friendly but also serves incredible rib eye! Hotel is set in the jungle with a short stroll to the lagoon for a sunrise kayak ride. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay. This is just outside the centro which was fine for us since we had a car. We will definitely be back. "
