"Very nice property, we enjoyed the pool and the lagoon, compared to other places we visited, the lagoon area in front of the hotel was clean with crystal clear water. The staff was super friendly and professional! One thing we absolutely did not like is that you have no control over the AC, you need to call the staff to operate it and that was quite annoying, hopefully they will find a better way to do this, at least access to turn on/off would have nice."

"The staff was great at receiving us at the time requested. The view to the lagoon was amazing. They have options to rent a kayak and go out to the lagoon. (We suggest an early morning kayak outing to see the sunrise and be back to the hotel before 9am, that’s when the winds tend to pick up). The bartender at the bar on the property was friendly and the views from the seating areas and hammocks were amazing! "

Extra bed in room for our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children under 10). Also, amazing location to walk into town too! 5 minutes from the main plaza. it is next to a fabulous breakfast place (2 mins walk) - Ixchel Bacalar Downside - Coffee machine in room but no pods and poor WiFi connectivity. "Cute hotel not far from downtown. Easy to locate with parking. Loved the breakfast but the kitchen staff wasn’t the friendliest. Receptionist was great and very helpful. Rooms were big and spacious.
