"The property is set back from the busy street, but close enough for us to walk over & enjoy a pizza! We only heard ther guests once - during our 2 night stay. Very pleasant stay - only thing that would have made it better, is if the staff knew the area a bit better - the person I spoke to only knew about restaurants in loop, but there are many other places close by! "Close to Santa Cruz and had many food places within walking distance. The rooms were clean and they have a pool and hot tub which my kids loved. Both of the front desk ladies in the morning and the afternoon were friendly and helpful I forgot their names but they were amazing. Big thanks to the housekeeper for how clean the rooms were. I stayed in 305 and 307 and they were perfect the tub faucet was shiny. I felt like I was in a palace. They even put my name of the tv so when I walked it I felt super welcome. I will stay there again in the near future."

"We love the Monarch Cove inn and have stayed here when we visit Santa Cruz for several years. We were sad to learn Summer had left her position at the Monarch Cove inn. She will be missed. Her replacement Katrina was very welcoming and provided us with great customer service upon our arrival."
