"Only over night but really friendly service"

"This was our first visit to Shrewsbury with the intention to do some Christmas shopping. We had some issues with parking due to the road closures but we parked at the station which was easy and only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Amazing service at check in, so friendly and efficient. Breakfast was nice but unfortunately we were made to feel as though we didn't belong there which has now put us off staying at the hotel again. "

"Great location overlooking river Dee and racecourse. Amazing views from restaurant! Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. Rooms clean, tidy and functional. We found bed very soft but that is our personal feeling. Easy underground parking at reasonable cost. Short walk to city centre. We would definitely stay here again."

"The staff were excellent and offered high quality service, I felt like the property itself looks very old and outdated bar the new extension for the rooms. I also feel this is a Golf course 1st and Hotel and Spa second. Not bad for a night away especially if you are an older couple but younger couples may feel out of place.
