Staff very helpful and restaurant offered a decent range of options. Bed extremely comfortable and 1st floor corridor generally quiet. Somewhat disappointed that room was not made up until after 4pm on a couple of days, had to go down to lounge area to wait for cleaners to finish. Also noticed that glasses were left outside rooms and not collected from several hours, this presented a trip hazard and a danger for guests especially children. Overall a most enjoyable 4 day stay.

First was the reception lady who assisted my check in, it was terrible because i feel that i am not welcome to the place. No greetings and is not approachable. but when I finished she politely greeted other guest next to me. (White guest). Same happened when i had my breakfast a different lady who's in the front desk of restaurant. It seems that they are only pleasant with white people . The customer service is terrible when it comes to me

Good hotel but not for families.
Hotel is lovely, but got caught out by the 16 age limit for kids to use the pool. I understand the reasons why but this wasn't clearly indicated on the Hotels.com Web page. If it was we would have chosen the mecure down the road which is much cheaper and pool for all. Had 2 very disappointed kids.

I was extremely disappointed, when making the booking I wasn’t aware the swimming pool was only available for 16 and over. Only after receiving the confirmation from yourselves. Rather than cancel I thought I would call the hotel and ask, I he lady on the phone said it shouldn’t be a problem but send an email so I did. I received no response to my email, when arriving at the hotel I explained to the lady at reception when checking in what had happened, she asked who I spoke to, to which I replied I’m not sure, she said well I doubt that happened because all our staff no the pool is for 16 and over, she basically accused me of lying. Why would I drive 4 hours to a hotel with a pool my daughter can’t use when there is one 10 mins down the road she can, I emailed the hotel again with my concerns and still haven’t received a response. Disgraceful from a hotel brand like the Hilton. Won’t be using it again

1 night in Chester
Short stay in Chester. Hotel is a little outside of the city centre but the rooms are really nice, as is the bar area. The gym is great and popular. Would definitely come back here.
