"This is not our first stay here. We like to stay at the Valley Ford Hotel when we are visiting family in Sonoma County, so we've been here several times. We appreciate the rural location, the great food downstairs in the restaurant (and breakfast at the cafe across the street), and other local amenities, like the grocery and the creamery. The night before Thanksgiving we rolled in right before the restaurant closed and had dinner at the bar, in friendly, comfortable surroundings, then climbed up...
