"Our first trip to San Antonio. We were very pleased with the quality of the facility and staff. Small things, like the non-slip mat in the shower and/or blow-dryer holder with built-in nighight, adjustable desk chair help to make the experience very comfortable. Close to everything and we will certainly stay here again the next time we are in San Antonio."

"I have seen some reviews as of late, saying do not valet park, to expensive, to many choices nearby. I disagree, the parking is super convenient and considering the large amount of construction going on at the Alamo, on top of a rainy long weekend, worth the $. "

"We had a fantastic stay at The Cantera Resort! The amenities are truly 10/10 — the resort is beautifully maintained with fully renovated bedrooms that are modern, comfortable, and spotless. The multiple pool options with scenic views were a definite highlight and added so much to the relaxing atmosphere. Everything was excellent overall, except for our experience at the pool bar. Unfortunately, all of our drinks were served warm — including the beer — and while the margaritas were decent, the bar service was lacking. The staff seemed undertrained and not particularly friendly. That said, with a little improvement in the bar service, this place would be perfect. We’d still recommend it for the gorgeous setting and top-notch amenities!"
