It was a nice hotel to stay at and a perfect location. The hot tub/pool was great. I would stay there again. But you can tell it is an older property, and lacked customer service at the front office. The breakfast and Dinner in the Ambler restaurant was really good, customer service an excellent in that area.

The property itself is beautiful. We visited on New Year's Eve. It was as busy as you would expect, but the staff worked really hard to meet our expectations. Valet parking is available at a cost of $53/day! Yikes! But we didn't want to risk leaving our vehicle overnight at a public parking, especially not on New Year's Eve. The lobby and restaurant are was beautifully decorated. They even provided us with hats, beads, and horns to ring in the new year. There are several water stations throughout the hotel. That was nice. Our room was on the 3rd floor and in the corner. We had 2 windows with a view of the city, and even got a partial view of the firework display at the hemisphere park. Room service was quick and tasted good. It was as pricey as you'd expect. No surprise there. Downfall was they don't have vending machines. Bring your own if you have kids. Or even if you don't. The only complaint I have is that we could hear the elevator all night. It's pretty loud from the room where we stayed. Other than that, our stay was great. This hotel is on the Riverwalk and the back entrance leads you straight to it.
